VoMo MW Practice August 25th

OK, race fans. Get your game face ready for the annual August "hotter than hell" practice. Altho, it might be rainier than hell at this one, who knows. Everyone but Paul will begin setting up the course at 8AM or so. Paul, just do the normal go out and mow down the course before we chalk it routine.

hehehe... patience grasshoppa! Wait till we chalk the cones before you start to run/mow them down. Last 2 of the last 3 practice events you didn't wait and we had to re-measure and placed cones out. You don't remember because when we were cleaning up after you you were off smoking/sitting/chatting somewhere.

We will strive to start earlier this time (that 2 hour drive is the killer) as well as handle collecting the money up front. Maybe we should just do a paypal or online cart for a generic $20 entry fee? Nobody has cash anymore and its hard to remember to ask for $ when we're all running/testing.

My dad with his E46 will be there. I *almost* had him taking the STI home Sunday after the autox and having his car this week to put suspension on it. Then he said, "naw, I just drive up this week and we can do it then." Darn it!

Allrighty, Andy Hollis is coming. We may have two timers??

Plan now is to get there at or before sunrise and get some good skidpad information when it is a "cool" 80 degrees. I figure we can set up 2-3 skidpads, then take a break and set up the course.

I'm trying to make it. If I'm going to nats, I'll be in a b4c. If not and Scratcher V2.0 is ready for testing then I'll bring her up and start sorting her out.
