What is Vorshlag?

Vorshlag Motorsports designs, manufactures, and sells the world's best: camber-caster adjustment plates; competition motor and transmission mounts & RTABs; hub-centric wheel spacers; wheel stud conversion kits; and other performance related suspension products for dozens of modern sports cars.

Vorshlag also develops, imports, distributes and provides North American warranty support for Dutch built AST monotube racing shocks. We sell AST and Vorshlag products through a large and growing dealer network (see "dealer" page below). We also resell a handful of brands like Mason Engineering chassis bracing, D-Force Wheels, and Race Technology data logging products.

2009 Season Underway!
We had our first test-and-tune autocross event in February and it was a huge success. With help from Ronnie of AST Holland we were able to tune new AST setups on 8 different cars at a practice event, including revalving and new spring rates on a number of cars the night before a competition event the next day. AST equipped cars won many classes, including a win in our EVO X MR development mule on its first outing. We also wrapped up our second iteraiton of shocks for a C5/C6 Corvette, with AST 5200 shocks going on a '99 FRC the same week. Look for more 5000 series shocks on more cars throughout this season.

PRI 2009
The December Performance Racing Industry show was a huge success for AST USA. The Vorshlag crew was joined by AST Holland and AST UK (Powerstation) in our booth at the '08 show. We met with dozens of potential new AST dealers and had a great show. 2 months later we're still calling everyone back that wanted more information!

Vorshlag/AST EVO Build!
We are building a brand new EVO X "MR" into the Ultimate Dual Purpose Car - family friendly daily driver but also a competitive autocross car and NASA Time Trial terror, all wrapped up into one. Check out more progress on our forum.

Vorshlag principles out Sept 13-20
Hanchey is at the NASA Nationals at Mid-Ohio and Fair is at the SCCA Nationals in Topkea during mid September. We will have limited shop support until Sept 22nd. We do have phone support and most orders can still be fulfilled quickly. E-mail us at Sales if you have an urgent technical question.

New Vorshlag Designs
We are gearing up for many more new designs in the coming weeks. With new shop help Hanchey and Fair can spend more time working in CAD and doing testing. Stay tuned for more new bits soon. Oh, and we have E36/46 transmission mounts ready, which is an all new design. These come in two durometer polyurethanes to match the available Vorshlag competition motor mounts.

Vorshlag principles out June 5-10
DP got the cage ready and we're off to Californie. We hear they gots some race tracks out thar. Vorshlag at GRM UTCC June 7-9
The Vorshlag crew will be racing at the Grassroots Motorsports / Hankook / NASA "Ultimate Track Car Challenge" at Buttonwillow on June 7-9th, in California. Fair and Hanchey recently got their NASA TT competition licenses and have been busy running the E36 LS1 "Alpha" car at track days across Texas.

New Plates
We've been busy designing new camber plates for Minis and Subarus, both of which are released for production.

More E30 Coverage
The E30 coverage of AST4100 has been joined by 4200 and 4300 offerings. We have in-house shortened strut housings for 4100s as well as true coilover rears for 4200 and 4300 shocks. E-mail for more info.

More AST Coverage
Vorshlag is constantly bringing in new AST shocks for import and domestic cars. C5 Corvette coilover testing will begin soon, and more shocks are inbound for GTO, G8, VW, Miata, and more.

You coulda had a V8!
Vorshlag has learned lessons from the Alpha car, further developed parts on the Beta prototype, and now we are ready to release the Vorshlag LS1 V8 Conversion Kit for the BMW E36 chassis! The first 10 "Stage 0" kits are available for pro-order for $3999 (the pre-order is a $1700 refundable down payment). Stage 1 kits will be available soon. Vorshlag Wins at '07 SCCA Solo Nat'ls
Our STU BMW took top honors in STU-Ladies, with Amy Fair at the helm. That's two years in a row for Amy in this M3, and this year she trailed going into Day 2. Congrats! We are building her another ST car for 2008, to let her try a new class on for size. We are also refining the XPrepared E36 LS1, which could be a contender in 2008.
