Considering we all drove like n00bs and were way off the pace... He can claim anything he wants to.

                  Re: Houston National Tour

Costas just pointed out that STU was mentioned as the biggest class in this month's SPORTS CAR magazine (Page 62, July '06 issue):

Houston Region also hosted the Solo National Tour in April, drawing 176 drivers to Gulf Greyhound Park in Texas City, about 20 miles south of Houston. Street Touring Ultra drew the largest number of competitors with 15 drivers. However, none could out drive D.C. Region driver Burak Tuglu and his 2004 WRX STi as the Rockville, Md., driver finished just over 0.4 sec ahead of Texas Region's Terry Fair and his BMW. Third place went to Texas Region's Paul Magyar, another STi driver, and another 0.4 sec down...

                  grrr...

There is a pending protest in the class involving intake system rules that could shake up trophies further down.
That I never sent in because the research we did could not refute the (feeble) logic used to overturn my protest.

They basically ruled to allow the cars with the most power to have the most liberal intake modifications. Brilliant!

                  grr...
