Just signed up as well. Should be a great pre-Nationals test.

Smooooooth surface with some dust blowing across it. You can't see the "marbles" and by the time you realize you are in them, it's way too late.

Gripper than last year, more than TMS bus lot. I think like Mineral Wells now in overall grip. One thing it does now that it didn't do before that well is build rubber up. Second day was much gripper. So when we run Thurs/Fri there will be a lot of rubber down and it will be serious grip. RX-8 FTW! (not).

Good grief, I sure hope not!

I'm no suspension pro, but that's just wrong.

A bit extreme, but I think your car would be faster if it were softer in the rear. Based on my limited experience in the car and your comments, you really need to get the car to hook up. I don't recall it ever having an understeer problem, and a little push isn't all bad.

All the fast BMW's I have seen all do that.

That's like saying "Voldemort" to Fair or Teucci. I happen to agree with you though.

                            Push is bad...mmmkay!

Results are up: http://www.kansasregionscca.org/2007...p__results.htm - the STU results are out of order (and pax is messed up for us) but Paul finished 6th and I was 8th. Not a great outting for me as I still have not mastered driving on that surface type. Practice, practice, practice.

The car pushed pretty bad on corner exit on the first day so you really couldn't get into the gas. We did a swaybar change that night and the car, while not perfect, was better on the second day. I think the extra grip from the laid down rubber helped as well.

I would say he has plenty of grip. Seems to me that this works.
