I just opened the boxes from Fastenal. I've got one epoxy kit and two clearcoat kits. I thought I'd told them two epoxies and one clearcoat, but I digress.

Fair said he used not quite two epoxy kits for 1100 sq. ft. and he was laying it on thick. That's well over 500 sq. ft. per kit. My garage is a mere 420 or so. I think I should be okay. Thoughts? I'm starting tomorrow (Sat.) morning.

I plan to clear it on Sunday and may give it more coats later in the week since I have so much clear. I guess I could hold onto it or sell it if I don't need the second gallon...

Turns out one box was just barely......and I mean barely.....enough to do my roughly 22'x21' garage. BIG thanks to Hunter, Doug (Baumgarten), and my buddy Scott for helping out today. The floor is fully coated and Doug did a great job as Master Sprinkler.

Tomorrow afternoon I'll be clearcoating it and it'll set up over the upcoming week. I'm very relieved to have this project nearing completion. I can't wait to have my garage back!!

The clear coat kit, IMO, is not enough for a standard 2 car garage unless you go with pretty thin coats (I didn't). As a result I'll be using the second kit I bought to recoat the floor, but the tire stop area is fine so it'll remain with just the one coat.

I'm a bit concerned because the humidity was pretty high this evening and moisture was developing out side so I closed the door, put on my respirator, and fired up the fans after ensuring the floor was dry. Humidity stayed below the 85% max, though, so hopefully the final coat of clear I applied tonight will bond well. It sure looks good at the moment.

Well, I haven't done the light install yet, but otherwise the garage is DONE. One coat of epoxy coat, two coats of clear, two coats of paint on the ceiling and walls, 220V outlet, and some extra 110V outlets are all applied/installed.

I haven't taken pics of it with the garage fully cleared out, but this'll give you an idea of how it looks now:

Mucho thankos to everyon here who helped me out! I'm really happy with the way it turned out!! I'll get some more pics with it empty before I start moving all my tools in tomorrow night....
