If you don't want to spend a furtune, and have a street legal car; Go into stock and just drive the d**n thing.
If you want to have a fun moster keep the Formula, run SM, take it to Topeka. You would probably get in the Trophies, if you want to win then you have to pick the right car and spend spend spend.
As far as being competitive, locally v Nationally are totally different. I got spanked in FS at Natl. I drove like a$$ this weekend in the Springs, in my FS car (running ESP) and took the class by 3.5 seconds

First, I never expect to get the universal agreement of this crowd, not hardly!
But I think some of you are ignoring some things that STU can fix on these porky, RWD beasts.
