    Videos:

    In-car #1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r82qX2VjqZc - Fair driving the Alpha at a BMWCCA TMS autocross 10/13/07. G class winning/FTD run.

In-car #2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-PX65YaK9M - Hanchey driving the Alpha at a BMWCCA TMS autocross 10/13/07. Z class winning run.

I won G class and Hanchey won Z class in the Alpha car (with tire pressures "not even in the right ballpark", ack!)

Thanks to Hanchey for getting the car more sorted for my final runs. Also, big thanks to Paul for coming out to help with both cars - tire pressures, cooling tires, taking pictures, and helping with the many passengers we took on our ample runs that day. Great turnout and weather was perfect. Course was an insanely tight rendition of the West Course from the 2007 Solo Nationals. The final 2 U-turns were made into pivot cones.

Amy won F class by a good margin, yet still found time to put on a show at the finish (power slides!).

At next Sunday's SCCA TMS event I will try to run the pressures Teucci found to work best (a lot lower than what we've been using) and see if we can get the low speed push under control. Car was a blast and the massive braking and acceleration potential are the only thing that saved FTD for us.

That was a fun event even if Fair beat me. Fair and I traded off doing the announcing. I don't know if we were that good, but it sure made the day go by faster. Plus we got to sit in the van!

Where do we find our times, not sure I'm still on that email list, since this was my first BMW event all year...........

Those vids look like the car is an absolute riot.

Q: At the BMW-specific events, do you get any grief for that car or is it pretty well received? Obviously it blows away pretty much every other BMW out there. I guess giving more power to a 318 isn't going to ruffle any BMW-Faithful feathers. Seems like doing it to an M3 might though.

Obfuscation usually requires a lot more words than if you simply focus on fundamental principles, so I’m not at all surprised by the loquaciousness of liberals.

F me, that new muffler sounds GOOD. I don't know why I keep torturing myself with these videos.

I thought the same thing, but most people ask why we didn't start with a M3. I think the results pretty much make everyone forget about the cross pollenation issues.
