Anyone care to let me co-drive for the SCCA event? I'll pay your entry fees and buy ya lunch

"Raw times" in this case are from clean runs, too. But the slower cars than Brian were beat on "raw" time as well.

Results from the event Sat at MW. Brian took the M3 and did well! It was a hugely fast course with mostly 3rd and some 4th gear sections. I watched video from several runs and he was hustling the M3 around there; in the morning it was more like drifting. Amazing that he beat the list of cars that he did...

Brian fought with a loose condition in the rear in the morning, made a swaybar change in the break, then put down the fastest times in the afternoon (when times usually slow down due to the heat). Pretty pleased with the results. He's ready to go lapping in it now, I think!

From the video I could see that it was poorly marked, had their typical dangerous finish, and several places on course where cars traveling at high speed could get perilously close to other cars. Not good.

If we keep doing these BMW events at MW or track days the M3 will need to get front brake backing plate ducting. With 2 drivers they get too hot.

Yeah, that was fun. Sucks being so close to a car with way more money spent on it. Hopefully we'll fix that by next season.

You don't go to 4th gear all the time? Hmm.
