Again, great job McCall and Paul - y'all did awesome. Paxing 18 amongst 7 mod cars and at least five past national champions is good stuff - would have been higher if you could have done another 30.5 too, but oh well. Hopefully the mojo keeps up for Nationals, and Hanchey/Fair can find theirs again.

Mark Sipe was working third heat and said it looked like my car was bottoming out. Explains a lot. Explains why I'm always slow there and feel like the car handles horribly every time I go there. Unexplained push and oversteer every time I've been there! Could explain why my left rear shock is leaking now. Not sure when that started, but this is the first I saw it.
Now, raise the car just because Pennington Field is bumpy or stick with what has worked for almost two years AND Nationals last year? Topeka is bumpy, but it doesn't have major drainage swails in the middle of the course.
Did you notice how fast all the stock cars were? Stock ride height goes a long way at Pennington me thinks. Well, better late than never to learn something new!Brian Hanchey

Thanks for the pic link, Cody.
I took the pictures of our cars and stuck them on the Punky Picture Page, on pages 3 and 4 of the ER event:

Little bit of body roll here.
Pretty close on the cones, don't think I am giving up much.
Inside rear almost picking up, I think it actually did a moment later. Lot of tire deflection on the front. Looks like if I get a bit more roll resistence in the car the camber will be right on.
Also notice, I am not far enough on the left here. This is the spot where Jason really went fast.

Not a valid url.
Nevermind, that worked. I heard they used to run out there all the time, but the asphalt is too broken up now. The VIP parking Saturday night looked fine to me.Brian Hanchey
