If the RX-8 is an STU car, I think you are right, it could demolish the rally cars.

Prediction:?* trophy spots in BS:?* RX-8, MR2 Turbo, 968, MAYBE 350Z.

Bummed that I couldn't make it.. About 4:00 on Saturday I realized that my alignment tool would not work with the new clutch so it was time to give up..

I think you're a little off on your trophy spots on BS. 968 1st, 2nd is a tie between a RX8 and a MR2 turbo. 350z.. maybe 10th or so.

I just meant they'd all trophy, I didn't mean in that order. I agree, the 968 probably has the advantage if there are any tight turns. RX-8 can't drop below 4k rpm.

EDIT: $23.8k for a new RX-8 through Nortel/Ford S-Plan. $10k for spare parts?

Sipe was 3rd or 5th in pax, $25, I was 9th and got $15. Not bad! I don't know if they caught it (I think they did since I finished 9th), I hit a FREAKING cone before the starting lights. Stupid mistake. I still stand by my ability to do a 40.5s run since that didn't offer any advantage. Oh well.

The Rapid PAX runs were separate than the timed runs above, and most of us got faster (some got a LOT faster) with the extra tries at the course.
