Unforunately, the stripped cars aren't the ones that most people in this market buy. I, personally, wish that we would get more base G8 GTs, but I know that they would just sit here . . .

Newman is right. Not only do few people want stripped down models, but every option increases the dealer's profit. In the slow car sales times we're in now, every bit helps.

            My imaginary 135i is $42,075 ($39,630 Euro Delivery)...still $3K less than the sticker on my '99 M3

Holy $#!+.... That's a ton of money for a NEW car, much less a used one....especially just a 1 series.

I've been thinking "new car" again for some reason. But then again, you can get an E46 323i for $6k, put a V8 in it and have something outrageous compared to a new 135i for less money too.

Well he made my argument against new cars before I could type it...

New car buying = ferociously bad depreciation
