SCCA event 8-15-05! Matteucci coming up...

To debut the new 2.8L engine he just swapped in there, and to test on concrete before 2004 Nationals, Matteucci is coming up this weekend to run at Pennington Field. Anyone wanna join? Will this awsome August weather hold out?

Amy's got a "new" set of Hoosiers that we need to go ahead and try out. I hate August events in Texas heat, pennington field, and the texas region SCCA events in general... but hell. Why not?

Heh, you're going to take Amy's stock Formula out to Pennington for an SCCA event in the middle of August?! WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH FAIR???

That sounds like the anti-fun for sure. Last ER event I did there was 40 seconds short, course was lame, it was HOT (this was June), and the lot is so small that the course will be too tight for your stock F-car (ask me how I know).

Better go brush up on your trail braking and 2-1 downshifting!

I understand Teucci wants the practice on concrete and that makes sense. But besides that, that place is not worth it. Might as well go practice in a Walmart parking lot. Heck, that might be even bigger!
