Lots of pictures from the 2007 Houston Tour event. First 2 pages worth show in and around the car, the rest are of the car on course. When we have time to edit and upload the videos we'll post them here.

Matteucci - Good job getting it running, and even competitive in XP! He had put about 35 street miles on it before coming to the Tour event and only had one small issue on Friday after making 8+ hot laps; he bled the clutch Friday night and it ran flawlessly on Saturday and Sunday.

Heard more than once during the weekend after someone walked by and noticed the engine: "Wow, someone should make a kit for that swap!"

That's video of the Alpha car. Please ignore the herky-jerky video (not enough caffeine or digital overzooming?) and squeaking alternator bushing.

Big props to Brian Matteucci for finishing the Alpha! It sounds so good and goes like stink. He has run it at several autocross events now (+ street testing) and will be competing at the Houston SCCA SW Divisional event in 2 weeks.

Great job guys! I bet that ABS pump in the interior is LOUD!

Actually I am somewhat suprised. The pump running is almost silent... the solenoids firing are very very quiet.

A LOT different than some ABS systems where you can hear the pump and solenoids vibrate the whole car!

According to Teucci you can't hear anything other than the exhaust. No interior, insulation, nothing. I think its quieter outside the car than inside!
