The GT500 mufflers are 20lbs lighter total but according to my pals at Ford they only have a few kPa less pressure drop vs stock gt, and that's not much improvement for flow. Rule of thumb from those guys is 5 kPa improvement in muffler flow is worth 1HP. most HP gains I've seen with axle back is 9HP. have you seen that much?
Keep up the great R&D work, looking forward to your black beauty 2013 breaking the 3200lb mark. what about stiffer motor mounts and a lightweight clutch, flywheel, and drive shaft. the motor mounts not only reduce bucking but they improve shifting. same with the aluminum flywheel. save those syncros.
Oh you asked about the suspension in the Brembo vs. GT.
BBP uses the same stabars front and rear as a regular GT and slightly stiffer springs. Boss uses larger rear bars 25mm or 26mm LS, or special 27mm if you need to try that . by removing the gripper bushings on the front you reduced roll stiffness a little but its all tuning right?
Blasphemers using the non-Ford rear stabars!!!
