    Miata w/ 5100 & ?? spring rates

    What is the max spring rate the off the shelf 5100s are valved for? I'm considering going to STS or CSP next year. Want to see if I would need a revalve to handle higher spring rates.

    I'm going to buy the springs locally, I'm tired of paying the border fees when getting stuff from the USA.

    You can go 800/550 or so. After that I'd revalve them.

    I am using 700/450 F/R with my AST 4100s on my 1993 Miata. I had to install NB shock hats for extra travel in the rear. Let me know if you need more info.
