  • AST 4200 + 4300 shocks!

Vorshlag has received our first shipments of 4300 monotibe triple adjustable racing shocks from AST, and 4200 doubles are coming in another week. AST hasn't made double adjustables before so this is a new global product line for them (our testing with the prototypes on my E36 M3 has gone very well). The 4300s are different from their "Competition" shocks and struts, with several Vorshlag spec'd changes similar to many of the Sportline 1 to 4100 changes.

Going to post the first pictures here with additional product information to follow on our new-being-developed AST informational website. These pictures below are of custom length/ends/valved AST 4300 triple adjustable shocks made for an MX5 Miata (click pictures to enlarge):

We have 4300s built for an E36 on hand that we will take pictures of and post soon.

Pricing on 4300s will be officially released when the AST website goes livbe, but expected pricing is $3999-4499, depending on options (which compare to similar shocks costing $7500+). 4200 shocks are priced at $2500-2999, depending on styles and differences (compares to similar shocks costing $4500+). The first large shipment of 4200s are inbound, pre-sold to testers.

Fair, what is the compression setting on the 4100's?
Is it equal to the max of the 4200? I am ASSuming that the 4200's are better since you can turn down the compression for bumpy or wet surfaces.
