I called directly to hold a reservation for me without having to pay up front. Mention the $58.00 price listed by the SCCA and she will give it to you. I suggest everyone call ASAP and get a room held for them before they all get reserved (as the run list just came out).

Well, before I booked the Quality I tried the Super 8 right at Forbes and I got a room (King non-smoker) for the 22nd-28th. It's $72 a night but that's worth it to me to be basically right at the track!

I asked and they still have some rooms available for those nights but she's getting calls like crazy.

Super 8 is the way to go! It's SO close to the site (even the new one). You don't even need to consider using a porta potty because you can just drive to the room. Every now and then that's super convenient. Or if you need a nap during the day... Or forgot something at the room.... I'd stay there again for sure.
