Re: CostasCross - October 23rd TAMU

I would imagine that I'll be doing the third autocross of the spring semester too.

Will post schedule when I know.

      Costas

ps: John, there is an 's' at the end of my name. Costascross. Not Costacross. No biggie really, I've been called much much worse. But...I'm just sayin...

I think that one will be on the "goto" list.

I thought you were always referring to yourself in the plural

                Brian,

I think you can wait a couple weeks before you do that. Heck you will have several months to get it done.

Re: CostaCross - October 23rd TAMU

I'm putting my car on jacks probably for a month. I can't spend 10 hours a day on two weekend days, multiple weekends in a row so I'm going to do it at night and on the weekends. No rushing required. Really I have three projects

                  1. radiator, oil pump nut, power steering, motor mounts (front of the motor stuff)
                  2. header, clutch, shifter, fluids (rear of motor stuff)
                  3. springs, alignment and corner weight

                  2005 STi, STU#66 303whp / 338wtq (e36 M3 6whp, 0 wtq / RX-8 4 whp, -1 wtq)

Is your signature supposed to be an insult? Psycological warfare?

                  Here's mine then:

80 less whp, still .5s faster (with good driver)

                    Psycological warfare? = yes

80 less whp, still .5s faster (with good driver) = false

80 less whp, still .4s faster (with good driver) = true, but working on that

Re: CostaCross - October 23rd TAMU

OMG. 4/10s 5/10s whatever. And don't think we're not improving my car either. Car still is handling like a John Deere. Probably more than your car.

80 less whp, still .4s faster (with good driver) = true, but working on that (when given 5 runs. The important events have 3 runs)

                      So I'll correct myself.

                      63.6 vs. 65.2 is....
80 less whp, still 1.6s faster (with good driver) HAHAH. Work on THAT biatch!!

I did/am working on that. We shall see now won't we Mr. Sunday School Teacher (going to the man for inspirational driving I see). =)

OK, smack talk aside, your first run was FAST! I mean out of the box, smack down, the rest of you play catch up FAST!

You guys missed 95% of a good course (sorry Costas). The first 3/4 of the course was good; fast, yet technical with pretty good flow. The last part was downright painful to run (and watch). A little more flow in the last section would have keept the goal of slowing drivers down while still working on skills.... but that's easy to say because I didn't design it.

Results are posted up on TAMSCCs forum. I ran SSM if anyone wants to bust on my times
