Out with the old.. In with the new!

    Traded in my 1997 318i w/190k miles on a 2008 335i!

    Black Sapphire on Black Leather.

Wow what a difference 1.1 liters and twin turbos make!

Getting detailed this weekend in Austin. I will post pics afterwards!

What does Vorshlag have in store for E90's?

Some pics after a professional detail yesterday. Needed to fix some blemishes and get a good coat of seal / wax on her. Then it rains all day today.

Yeah, that was my problem when I was looking for a CPO. Not only that, but I only wanted Montego Blue and sport/premium pkg in a sedan! Unfortunately I missed a couple waiting on my insurance settlement. I wouldn't settle for an automatic though. Coupes were much easier to find and Classic BMW here even had one with a manual, but they wanted way too much for it. Then the G8 GT was offered to me for way cheap and I don't mind the auto in a big car, so I jumped on that. bmwusa.com had a nice search for finding the cars though.

    Thanks! Sedan

I wanted the standard transmission soo bad, but good luck finding one! BMW of CC said they have only ordered one 335i since 2007 with a standard transmission and have never had one preowned. The auto is nice though, I like having the paddle shifters there when i want them. Overall I am blown away at the quality of the car. With all the technology in the car, you would think the drivers feeling would be gone. My sisters Mercedes C class feels so dull and bland to drive. The 335i feels GREAT, you still feel everything in the brakes, engine in the accelerator pedal, steering feel is awesome.

Nice! Congrats! Color me jealous! Coupe or sedan? That's about the equivalent of when I moved up from my '93 Ford Escort GT to a then brand new '99 M3 coupe.
