Interesting tidbit from the folks at Inside Line - 6% of U.S. 5 series are bought with a manual transmission. That made me wonder about the 3 series, so I asked and they asked BMW - only 10% of current 3 series are manual, with about 25% of current M3s bought with a manual. It's no wonder I had such a hard time finding a CPO 335 sedan with a manual last year.

Same here.. I tried finding a manual 335i before I bought mine. The dealership here said out of all the 335i's they have had, only one was ordered with a manual gearbox...

Sucks. Even though they say the auto is faster, the paddle shifting novelty wore off QUICK.

it will have the same n54 as the 335i.. Which means most likely the same tuners will be able to pump it up!

Pebble Beach is the craziest event ever. I regret not going this year while out here. I didn't get to see all the cars on their Tour around the peninsula. $6M Ferrari? Why not?
