Ok I don't have to read this one, It doesn't help unless they found a cylindrical/spherical car. Dimples create turbulence that help close/reduce the wake drag, add drag to reduce drag if you will. So it has to be a pretty poor shape for dimples to help...

This would be worse than people driving around with their tailgates down

There's a company wrapping race cars with dimpled vinyl wrap. They are much smaller, but they say it works. Looks cool too.
