2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR: Better Transmission Than GT-R

So far I think the transmission is pretty amazing too. I noticed if you start braking and the transmission is in auto mode 5th gear, one flick will downshift the car to 3rd, not 4th. If you're steady state, it downshifts to 4th. Pretty cool.

I don't know why, but I really like using the shifter in manual mode. The fact the paddles are mounted on the column and not the wheel bugs a little. I've missed it and hit the wiper stalk before. No comments though till it gets on the track. I'll probably figure it out by then. On another note, if you don't pull the shifter hard enough sometimes it doesn't shift so nothing's perfect I guess.
