I can vouch for Colorado Springs. All of the auto-x events so far this year have been down there. Man, those troopers are very adept at hiding and catching speeders. Not to mention that there are several construction zones where the speed limit drops very quickly... with a trooper sitting just beyond the sign waiting.

FWIW, they all seem to have Chargers now.

I've never driven in Houston where there hasn't been a traffic jam on the freeway. No chance to speed

I just didn't see many speed traps while I lived in Houston (2.5 years), but that could have changed since 1999. Dallas and its suburbs have them all over though.

I find that very odd. I lived in CO for 3 years and saw about dozen cops total. That state has hardly any law enforcement. And it is next to impossible to speed on I-25, there are always people camped in both lanes doing 60mph even in the 75mph zones

There were 6 troopers on the stretch of I-25 between CoS and Monument on Sunday coming back from the auto-x. More then half of them were on the southbound side.

In the AM I am able to fly down to CoS... but in the afternoon, between the hells angels and the RVs, it's 60 mph (even in the 75mph zones)

FWIW, I've already donated to Parker's finest. Nabbed me doing 45 in a 35. Bastiges
