Yuck. Front end looks like it was lifted from one of the new Opel/Saturn cars and melted and the azz is just awful.


Has the Subaru/Toyota merger already happened? Those taillights look like they are striaght off an FJ Cruiser.



And that spoiler is just over-the-top ridiculous HUUUUUUUGE.

I actually kind of like it. I bet with time and in person it will grown on you. Heck, there's your "wagon" right there with the 5-door hatch, which I would prefer BTW. I bet the interior space will be nice and rear access will rock.

As far as the spoiler, yea it's huge BUT going that big will solve the one huge complaint us rallye car owners have, namely the rear wing obstructing the view out the back window.

And the big news, a true multi-link rear suspension. Add that to the bigger interior room I bet a lot of people will be converts (or at least ignore some of the styling)

Well, my assumption is that one of the reasons they are doing it because the sedans are getting it handed to them by the hatches in WRC. Yeah, it's a psudo-wagon, but I really want a full cargo area with a cover vs. having to drop the seats everytime I needed to fit something larger than a loaf of bread in there.

I do agree that it will likely grow on me. I've always liked the "hot-hatch" segment and that one will be the best of the bunch.
