The chassis is also state of the art, with four-wheel independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes. And don’t forget the big tires, 21 inches up front and 22 inches at the rear. "

Yeah, like that's a plus. Cody is predicting the Camaro to be a more aggressive looking GTO, i.e. 3800lbs, independent rear, & 400hp. That would be very sad. No way the Camaro will have rims that big for production (though Chyrsler puts 20s on their SRT-8s). That will get you to heavy weights rather quickly! Obviously with the independent rear they realize the car needs to do more than drag race (think 3920lb Shelby GT500), and hopefully GM will work on keeping weight down. Unfortunately they will likely go for the Mustang price range and that will prohibit use of aluminum and other lightweight bits. I'm betting they'll also have a V6 using the 3.9L 240hp V6, or whatever modernized version is available in a few years. After all, they have to have a volume version to make it business worthy.
