Terry, I just ordered an intercooler upgrade for my S60R. Any idea of what you would hit me for to do the install? I'm sure I can do it myself, but I'll admit that I'm a little intimidated by removing/reinstalling the front bumper.
If you've messed with the EVO's, there probably isn't much difference in procedure, except that my primary intercooler is sandwiched between the radiator & condenser. A saws-all is needed to cut the plastic necks off in order to slide it out the top w/o draining the radiator or condenser. The condenser then gets pushed back some to the space vacated by the primary IC.
I can e-mail mfr's instructions if you want.
I should be ordering a clutch & flywheel soon, too-think you might be interested in tackling that as well? Remember, it's a FWD-based AWD car-total PITA!
I'm willing to help out on both jobs (depends on your shop policies), I just don't want to run into something I can't handle on my own.
I don't know if you got the info yet, but here are the part numbers for the Boss LS rear seat delete cross brace.
I've been following your 2011 Mustang build blog for over a year now. In fact, it's what inspired me to join the SCCA and become involved in performance driving schools, hot lapping events across the US and Autocross with our local SCCA Region.
My car is a supercharged 2012 3.7L Mustang, with a similar goal you and your wife have - a fun car you can take to the track and DD (with enough space to fit my racing wheels, luggage and a passenger).
If I may ask one question about your Forgestar F14's you are running now. What offsets would you recommend going with for the sizes you went with?
Terry, I am looking to have a generator rack built and welded to the frame on the back of my 5th wheel once I get the hitch installed on my new truck. I could buy a reciever hitch and use one that mounts to that, but they don't look as sturdy as the homemade ones I have seen. I know you are busy, but is this something you could help me out with?
