  • German Car Museum in Richardson

So an old telecommunication building on Campbell Rd near UTD is being converted into a The North Texas Automotive Museum . It was initially rejected by the Richardson city council (http://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/st...6/story12.html) due there misunderstanding the difference between a museum and a repair shop. Since that they have worked out the issues and it is a go. The owner is Dr. Mehrdad Mazaheri who is an eye doctor. Here is the link to the museum site. Apparently focused on Mercedes.

Whoa, thanks! My coworker was just saying something about a car museum over there, but didn't know much about it.

I drove by (Campbell and Floyd) and saw the sign about a car museum but nothing really on the internet till just the other day when the site came up. The list of exhibits looks fairly bland but it's a start I guess. I think they should broaden the range of German cars to include oh say....BMW's.

That was a Sterling's Jewelers when I was growing up. Before the world of Best Buys, sporting goods stores, appliance stores and jewelry stores. You just went to one place to get your bat, clothes, bling, TVs, and washing machines!
