In this blog update we have links to updates two popular build threads &#8211; Brianne Corn&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vorshlag.com\/forums\/showthread.php?p=57908#post57908\">Pikes Peak Subaru<\/a><\/strong> and the Alpha build for the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vorshlag.com\/forums\/showthread.php?p=57906#post57906\">Scion FR-S LSx swap<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/vorshlag.smugmug.com\/Vorshlag-Test-Pilots\/Brianne-Corn-2005-STi\/i-cN4n4Xd\/0\/M\/10333318_10154222496885113_1284310927123492641_o-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is our <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vorshlag.com\/forums\/showthread.php?p=57908#post57908\">second part<\/a><\/strong> to the 2014 update work we have performed, which you can read starting <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vorshlag.com\/forums\/showthread.php?p=57908#post57908\">here<\/a><\/strong>. We show lots of pictures showing the details of a new pedal assembly that has an adjustable bias for a dual brake master cylinder set-up.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/vorshlag.smugmug.com\/Vorshlag-Test-Pilots\/Brianne-Corn-2005-STi\/i-BgLg2BP\/0\/M\/_DSC2862-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another big item added in this update is hard to miss &#8211; this giant rear wing we acquired from AJ Hatman Racing. You can see how this custom set of rear wing uprights were built every step of the way.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/vorshlag.smugmug.com\/Projects\/Alpha-FR-s-LS3-Vorshlag\/i-5D5WtSb\/2\/M\/20140603_194732-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vorshlag.com\/forums\/showthread.php?p=57906#post57906\">Alpha 2013 Scion FR-S V8<\/a><\/strong> swap kit development is coming along nicely, too, and that thread update starts <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vorshlag.com\/forums\/showthread.php?p=57906#post57906\">here<\/a><\/strong>. We&#8217;ve re-designed the motor mounts and are satisfied with those and the transmission crossmember was also tackled. We discuss the trickiness of developing a swap kit vs a one-off build and also detail how to remove spot welds in sheet metal.
