We are trying to keep up with all of our forum build updates and this one was the next in line. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Projects\/Cadillac-CTS-V-Race-Car\/i-4w7TTjV\/0\/8c670397\/L\/IMG_4888-L.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vorshlag.com\/forums\/forum\/vorshlag-motorsports-discussions\/vorshlag-project-cars\/59087-2004-cadillac-cts-v-race-car-project-badillac?p=59122#post59122\">massive 3-part Forum Thread Update<\/a><\/strong> covers work we completed on this CTS-V from May through December of 2021. This included finishing up wiring, plumbing and a digital dash (or two!) install to allow the HPR 383&#8243; LS6 to be able to fire up with the Holley Terminator X EFI system. Read about all of the &#8220;fun&#8221; we had with Holley EFI in this post. We fought a long battle but fired up the engine successfully in August of &#8217;21<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Projects\/Cadillac-CTS-V-Race-Car\/i-BwMBwC2\/0\/4391411a\/L\/IMG_8597-L.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting past that milestone allowed us to focus the next phase of work &#8211; including a rebuild of the Ohlins coilovers + reservoir mounts, a new 1-piece driveshaft, then some front aero work. The aero bits needed included on front flares (to clear 18&#215;11&#8243; wheels and 315mm front tires) and a custom front splitter. We attached the splitter using rear quick release latches and front splitter struts from Professional Awesome.
