We show all of this and more in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vorshlag.com\/forums\/forum\/vorshlag-motorsports-discussions\/vorshlag-project-cars\/7058-vorshlag-shop-truck-5-3l-swb-gmt800-truck-norris?p=58976#post58976\">this 2-part forum post<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Projects\/2000-Silverado-Shop-Truck\/i-7ZmGPrV\/0\/d2952845\/L\/IMG_6022-L.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course it was not as simple as we had hoped, and we ran into some snags with model year changes, parts supplier issues, and even model year changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Projects\/2000-Silverado-Shop-Truck\/i-2dPR7hq\/0\/34d57e6d\/L\/IMG_5889-L.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Lots of cutting, grinding, bracket fabrication, some welding, tweaking, and a little hammering got all of this to fit<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Projects\/2000-Silverado-Shop-Truck\/i-ntJ8w4m\/1\/ff335011\/L\/IMG_2932-L.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the work was done it was time to load up the truck to take to the painter. They will replace the roof panel do the paint work, then we will dive into the rest of the work we have left.
