Default 1994 BMW 318is - LS1 Project BETA

The Infamous "Scooter" car - BETA

Allrighty, we're in the midst of this car. It is being covered in detail here: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=675305

So what will this be?

OK, Scooter came to us and said these words, "I never want to be out accelerated, out cornered, or out braked at a track day." OK, we have the solution for you! At this point everything we write below this is subject to change, but we try to put what the plan is at this point.

Goals:
  • 2600-2700 pounds
  • 7.0L LS2 power capable of 500-550 rwhp
  • T56 6 speed transmission
  • Vorshlag long tube headers
  • Vorshlag LS1 swap kit
  • Vorshlag/AST coil overs
  • Mason Engineering braces
  • 18x10 D Force LTW5 wheels
  • MA Shaw body kit
  • Metric Mechanic built LSD Differential
  • Solid and/or poly bushings throughout
  • Barf bag installed in passenger seat side pocket (for those that can't take the shear fear of riding in this thing)
So far:
  • We're taking it to header fab TODAY, April 9, 2007

Dropped it off at 11:59PM last night. Thanks McCall for sticking around long enough to push it on the trailer. No steering was a nice touch too.
