  • Long Time Listener, First Time Caller...

    First off...

Thanks to Terry for the user validation. I've been following Vorshlag on vorshlag.com, bimmerforums.com, naioc.com and sccaforums.com and thought it would be a good time to start talking with you guys. You have all provided a superior amount of quality inforamtion (sure, we all BS, but yours is more believable than most I've got a lot of questions about STU (I've got a 1995 BMW M3) as I'm starting to build up my car to seriously compete with all the STi's in my local region (Atlanta SCCA).

I'll start out with a few rules questions:

    1. I've read a bit about the MAF rules debacle and it's left me confused. My car came with a European MAF. Do I need to convert back to stock USDM MAF?

    2. My car came with 24# injectors. I assume I have to replace them with stock injectors.

    3. Is this all you can do add power the following:
    3a. Software
    3b. CAI
    3c. Headers and Exhaust
3d. Extreme stuff like overbore on rebuild

I think that's enough for now. I'll be posting in the setup subforum as I'm going to be needing to change my suspension setup (Koni SA, Gruppe-N springs, TC Kline rear coils) as the previous owner set the car up for the slammed look and not for autocrossing. Thanks everyone! I look forward to talking with you all in the future. You've got a great forum here.

    Yup... illegal

    A, B & C are legal

3d. Extreme stuff like overbore on rebuild
Legal within the rules of stock which I believe is the minimum rebuild overbore.
