The 500 mile drive up Saturday was in pouring rains, the interstate was flooded in Kansas, but we got here without incident. The paved paddock was full so we got swampy spots and Jason got his truck and trailor buried but I towed him out. Lots of stuck trucks.

Sunday practice was cold and windy but very informative. More soon...

Fair texted me. He said he's banging the rev limiter in two places and with a big mistake he's 0.6s out of first.

My day 1, first run was pretty bad but good enough for 2nd. Had several seconds worth of mistakes. My 2nd and 3rd runs were marred by ABS Ice Mode errors which caused the brakes to lock and the runs were aborted. Oh well, hopefully it doesn't happen today.

I've never experienced Ice Mode problems with E36 ABS. I remember Tunnell used to have troubles with some part of the ABS system getting too hot. Any chance it's something like that?

Thursday West Course Results

Amy Fair in 3rd in STS Ladies out of 11. The ONLY car that is not a 1989-1991 Honda Civic Si, i.e. an underdog. Hopefully she can do her usual Amy magic and move up the 2nd day. The person in 1st in STS Ladies won last year. The one in 2nd was 3rd last year. The one in 4th was 2nd last year. So, all veterans against an STS n00bie. Go Amy!
