  • '95 M3 Roller - $4000

    Hey guys,
A friend of Costas emailed us. He has a '95 M3 that was ready for a LS1 conversion and decided to not do it. I don't think we can really afford another car at the moment, but I figured I'd put this out here if anyone wants to be a "lead customer" for the first production kits? Just an idea. We're not giving kits away free.

    Roller in this case means:

    -No engine
    -No trans
-Little bit of interior, mostly stripped
-No front brakes - add $800 for 13" AP brakes
-Full GC suspension that I will make you take off

    Please DO NOT forward this.

Its black, has M Contours on it, no motor/trans. We asked him for more pictures. It would be a great chassis to start with for a track-LS1 car... has an M3 rear subframe/halfshafts/diff, M3 brakes (what's left), and real M3 bodywork.

Looks straight in the one picture we have, and I think its even a no sunroof car. Would be a kickass track car and/r semi-street car with an LS1/LS2.

Is it a real M3? Confirm the sunroof please.

Yep, a true M3, a '95. And more of the 95s were sans sunroof... Will confirm when we get more pics. See for yourself:

As for the sunroof, its not that much of an issue for a track only car. Its easy to remove the sunroof and replace with a CF panel. We're even kicking around the idea (still) of making a more weahter-proof bolt-in CF sunroof panel delete kit. Too much on the list to get to now, though. Once you have that, and ditch the factory headliner, a track car just gained lots of headroom.

And real track cars have fixed back racing seats, which can mount much lower than stock seats. We'll have 6"+ of headroom in our LS1 E36 with Sparcos.
