That also puts the Solstice GXP right in there at ~3100 - 3200 range on the scale.
They should have a handling component too

I think it should have an upgrade component too so you could see what cars might have an OK starting value, but with a few grand jump up significantly.

Honda CRV ranks in at 1826 given 3500lbs, 140hp, $21,900 ($20/day*365 days*3 years (aka the usual amt of time I own a car))

As many people in that article's comments section proved (using old ass beater Yugos and Hyundais bought for $100) you can never use that "formula" with used car prices.

Its fairly interesting to run on new performance cars, however.
