  • So what are your winter mods ?

    For the 99 FRC:
    1. Harness bar and 5 point harness (really needed with these leather seats)
    2. Shocks
    3. MAYBE long tube headers... LG's cheaper Street Series are netting 24 rwhp/30 rwtq thru the cats.
    4. I'll go through the rest of the maintenance (new fluids throughout)
    5. I'm at 75k miles, so I may proactively replace other wear items.
Toth: "I would sue Duck, but I don't know what I would do with 3 pennies and a hoopty GTO."
    Me: "I never finish anyth..."

Obfuscation usually requires a lot more words than if you simply focus on fundamental principles, so I’m not at all surprised by the loquaciousness of liberals.

As long as it's been since you've washed it, you should add wax it to that list.

Re: So what are your winter mods ?

              -Replace bad spring perches (warrantied)
-Replace Rear Trailing Arm Bushings, add Vorshlag RTAB limiters
-Mason Engineering front strut bar as a Christmas present to myself along with Vorshlag camber plates...maybe
-Bleed brakes (fluid changed earlier this year).
-See if Fair can manage to fit the Hawk HPS front pads on my car that Autoscope says are too big (despite them verifying it's the right part for my car)
              -Replace O2 sensors

This week: replace windshield wipers, replaced molding over lower windshield at same time, get car inspected.

Not a bad list compared to all the stuff I needed/had to do last winter.

I know this new shop being built in Fairview. Good rates...
O2 sensors will probably be done by Eurosport.

And if you don't want a newbie, take a 'veteran transporter' - ala. Memphis, TN for your blue Smurfula and then San Fran for the Hanchey family-mobile.
