I may come out to try to pay Sean back for beating me at the last event I did...

I'm not sure if I'll be approved for autocrossing by Vorshlag. I'm dropping my car off to have the left rear wheel bearing replaced and diff bushings replaced tomorrow, but the rear spring perches are still F'd up. Old used cars blow.

Uhh, are those the rear spring perches that came with the car?!

No, but the diff bushings and wheel bearings did.

Um...do you think its ok to race a car with 1500 miles on it? I mean the engine is broken in by now........right?

I gots the itch, but I guess I'll have to wait a little longer to scratch it.

Yeah, 1500 miles is fine for most cars....assuming the manufacturer considers your car broken in by now.

I agree...I raced the STi with the dealer tags on it, as well as one of my Lightnings. The TAMSCC advisor, Wally raced his Camaro with dealer tags on it, too with like 200 miles on the motor. I think 1000 is a good break in mark, but I also changed the oils at 1k and then I raced em....

Change your oil and come race with us!

1500 should be fine for break-in, especially for a non-forced-induction motor.

Obfuscation usually requires a lot more words than if you simply focus on fundamental principles, so I’m not at all surprised by the loquaciousness of liberals.

Amy, Hanchey will be at this event. And the Sunday event at TMS the week before (that's 6-18-06, Father's Day).

Amy raced the RX8 with 62 miles on the odo! Toth, you're good to go.

I was until Manetta "reminded" me that my daughter has a birthday party to go to that day, and I would be a disappointment of a father if I missed it to go racing.
