  • BMW Stuff for Sale

Hey guys, here is a list of things I want to sell. I'd like your opinions on price and if I should even bother (on some of the tires). I'll offer it here, then to BMW club, then I'll eBay it if I can't get them sold. These are things I don't need since I'm going to stick with STU.

    -Dinan E36 Throttle Body, new $350, $150
Has been on the car for about 20k miles. No issues. Will run with anyone's software.

    -2 Hoosier A03S03 245/40-17, 2 and 3/32" of tread, $20?
    Good for practice tires.

    -2 Yokohama A032R (hard compound) 235/40-17, 2.5-3 and 4/32", $50
    Good for practice tires.

    -2 Hankook Ventus HR2s 245/40-17s, 6 and 7/32", $75
Good street tires, I upgraded to 18s so I don't need these.

    -4 Kosei 17x8.5s, 5x120 pattern, 40mm offset, $600?
Gotta pay for STU tires yo! Only used for autocross, no curb rash, no curbs.

    -1 Xbrace, $80?
No legal in STU. No issues with it aside from a few scratches.

If you are selling the Kosei's what are you getting to replace them?

PS - Glad I don't see my stock TB listed for sale up there

You need to get some 9s or 9.5s and stretch some 255s across them.

            The Yoks are sold.

Edit: Is the offset on the Koseis the same as a stock 98 M3 rear? How much do they weigh?

Edit2: I'll take the Hoosiers too, good thing I cleaned the garage yesterday.

And you sir need to quit autocrossing so I can buy your wheels and seats. Watch, Cody will quote this and say "so you can sell me your seats!"

I can't remember what rear stock wheels are, 35 or 41mm?? I think they just have to be within 5mm right? They weigh 16.5 lbs according to TireRack.

Yeah, .25 inches = 6.35 millimeters according to Google calculator. I'll look at my spare stock rims tonight to see what they are in the rear. Wish Kosei made a 17x7.5 too :-/

Edit: Stock offset is 41mm front and rear.

I'm debating on what to do right now.

I've got a kid on the way... so there needs to be a safer / more child friendly vehicle in the household. So:

                      option 1: sell the E30 and buy a 530 / 540 for a daily driver
option 2: sell the E30 and put the M3 back on the road and bum auto-x rides
Option 3: put the M3 back on the road and build the E30 into a prepared or SM car.

Option 1 is the way I'm leaning... but I have to discuss it with my financier.

OK, no other comments on my pricing? If not, I'll send it on to the BMW board.
