  • Model Airplanes - Jet style

The r/c goobers had some jet convention in Waco this weekend. The airstrip is 10 minutes from my dad so we headed out there. Saturday was all jet fighters with REAL jet engines, not ducted fans. We missed the guy with the L1011 with three turbines. But there were plenty of cool things out there. They are crazy fast. Sound so cool, like a real fighter taxi'ing to the runway, hold the brakes, run it up and go go go!! It was fun. There was a F-18, F-15, Mirage, and various other ones.

Shouldn't you have been doing something more important.... like getting ready for Nationals?

Okay... 60th BD party is forgivable... as long as you brought a stripper!
Castrol Syntec... 0w30 at AUTOZONE. Look for the 'Made in Germany' on the back of the bottle. Should be NO YELLOW on the front.
